The Curtain Call Society is an exclusive dinner and cultural event series designed to bring world-renowned artists, speakers, and cultural leaders to Acadiana in an intimate, behind-the-scenes setting. Presented by PASA in partnership with the City Club at River Ranch, the program pairs celebrity headliners with curated dining experiences, offering guests a rare opportunity to engage with influential figures in the performing arts and beyond. Each event complements PASA’s public performances at the Heymann Center, creating a deeper, more personal extension of the cultural experience.
Held at the City Club at River Ranch, these unscripted evenings are designed to evoke the tradition of historic private clubs where members once dined with notable figures such as Joan Rivers, Stanley Marcus, and Paul Simon. Guests will enjoy premium dining, conversation, and exclusive access to prestigious artists in a setting that blends sophistication, culture, and community connection. The Curtain Call Society continues PASA’s legacy of presenting exceptional talent while creating memorable, high-level cultural gatherings for Acadiana’s most engaged patrons.
The program will feature three signature events each year, curated and managed by PASA’s dedicated special events team in collaboration with the City Club’s leadership. Attendance, audience engagement, media coverage, and participant feedback will guide the program’s ongoing growth and refinement. By combining world-class talent with an intimate social experience, the Curtain Call Society expands PASA’s cultural offerings and strengthens Lafayette’s reputation as a vibrant center for the performing arts.

PASA's friends at the ACA opened the doors of its Art House where Adonis Rose, the composer of the score for Sacred Spaces?, the artistic director of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra shared his thoughts about this first-ever experience composing music for dance. While he's performed for dance--he's a drummer--this was the first time he wrote music for a narrative score.
